The Excellence in Construction (EIC) Awards program honors the outstanding projects, craftsmanship, and leadership of ABC Nebraska/South Dakota member companies. This premier program showcases construction excellence across Nebraska and South Dakota—celebrating innovation, safety, teamwork, and the merit shop philosophy.
EIC provides an opportunity to recognize the people behind the projects, elevate your company’s reputation, and celebrate success with peers, project owners, and industry leaders.

Who Can Submit?
- Only ABC Nebraska/South Dakota contractor members in good standing are eligible to enter.
- Projects must meet the program’s eligibility and completion requirements for the current awards cycle.
- No project involving a safety-related fatality may be considered for an award.
- No company experiencing a safety-related fatality of a direct employee during the program year is eligible.
- All submissions are evaluated by an independent panel of judges, and judges’ decisions are final.
Important Dates
- Intent to Compete Registration Opens: January 20
- Intent to Compete Deadline: February 14
- Project Submission Opens: February 15
- Project Submission Deadline: March 6
- Excellence in Construction Awards Night: May 14
