Safety - Cornhusker Style

As everyone knows in the construction industry SAFETY IS JOB ONE!  So every employee will get home at the end of the day with their life and limb, every day, day after day!  The Cornhusker Chapter of the Associated Builders & Contractors provides a full range of safety resources and services to member companies so they can have full confidence in the safety of their employees.

Specific Member Safety Resources are things a member upon their own initiative can take advantage of such as:

  • Member's inquires about general safety questions either by phone or e-mail.  Call the staff of the Cornhusker Chapter at 402-477-4451.
  • Access to a library of safety videos and tool box safety talks.  Click here for a complete listing.
  • Taking various safety training courses and seminars offered at the Lincoln and Omaha Training Centers (OSHA 10 and 30 Hour, First Aid/CPR, Fall Protection, Confined Spaces, and the like).  Click here for a complete listing of courses, times, fees, and registration.
  • M stands for Mobil.  We will come to your office/shop/jobsite and conduct training for forklift, aerial lift, scaffolding, and similar OSHA or competent person courses.

Specific Member Safety Services are provided on a contract, or fee basis by an OSHA accredited safety professional.  These “safety services” identified below can be provided on a contract basis or on an as needed fee basis or some combination of both.  Safety contracts are in monthly units of typically 32 hours, 16 hours or 8 hours by the OSHA accredited safety professional on the staff of the Cornhusker Chapter.
